The large kitchen and common area in the basement were exceptional. Polite, friendly, and helpful staff. Near perfect location away from the crowds but still walking distance to attractions. Comfortable themed dormitories and beds. Accessible communal seating area with kitchen. Good wifi. Hot and powerful showers. Generally clean hostel.

We stayed in a former church which is really cool. It was close to the old town, so we could easily access it by walking. the location near Dean Village was a major highlight for us, as it was a very pretty part of the city.
The walls were quite thin, so we could hear noises from other rooms.

The hostel, located in a beautiful old church, has a unique and creative decor. The communal kitchen is well-equipped and the common area is spacious. The friendly staff, especially volunteers Nicole and Germano, were incredibly helpful. The location is also fantastic, with scenic Dean's Village just a stone's throw away and New Town only a short walk away. The free earplugs provided at the front desk were a thoughtful touch.
One drawback was the lighting in the room, which was a bit dark. However, this was easily manageable.

The private room I stayed in was spacious and clean, which was a pleasant surprise. the location of the hostel was great, just a short walk away from the old town. Plus, the large kitchen and common area in the basement were exceptional, providing a comfortable and social space.
The shared toilets had a constant unpleasant smell, making it difficult to use. the noise insulation in the rooms was also lacking, as I could hear every step and noise from outside.
